This policy explains what information Impact Personnel collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to handle your information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
We collect information you provide and information generated as you use the platform.
We use your information to operate the platform: to create and vet profiles, enable search and bookings, process booking payments, send notifications, and keep the platform safe.
Approved profiles are visible to other members so they can find and book you. We show approximate areas rather than exact addresses to protect privacy. We do not sell your personal information.
Booking fee payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and do not pass through our servers. Labour payments happen directly between members and are outside our systems.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including hashing sensitive values used for safety checks. We keep information for as long as needed to operate the platform and to meet legal obligations.
You can review and update most information from your account, and choose which emails you receive in notification settings. You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information, and you may request that we delete your account.
